My creative intentions are to be part of a dialogue of artists and thinkers that explores our relationship with essential foods bringing questions of economics, gender, history and sustainability. I imagine a kind of cross- pollination happening between British and Mexican artists of different disciplines where creative and social practices become the motor for creation and experimentation.

Within this dialogue I am planning to research, through drawing, mixed media and performance the role of women in the production, distribution and use of milk, honey and wheat. Creating a loose map of relationships between gender, agriculture, nature, domesticity and femininity.
